V-Guard is much more than a highly successful business conglomerate. We are also a socially committed and responsible team of professionals who wish to bring about positive changes to the world around us. That is why we have been contributing earnestly towards the upliftment of the underprivileged children around us. The Edu care and skill development programme of V-Guard aims at empowering these kids by equipping the m with vocational skills that would help them find suitable and rewarding jobs in their life ahead.

At V-Guard, we fully realise the importance of nurturing children in the right way, so that they would grow up as illustrious citizens of the future; the reason why consider it our duty to give them every help they deserve. As a part of this, we have taken the initiative to carry out an Education Sponsorship Programme in the cities of Palakkad, Coimbatore and Ernakulam. This righteous project provided financial assistance to the economically backward children of our society by making quality educational and healthcare accessible to them. As a part of this, student guidance, counselling and non residential camps were also conducted successfully. Occasions like Service Day, Arts Day, Children's Day etc. were celebrated with an idea to foster an sense of team spirit among the children. Apart from this various additional facilities were provided to these kids in the form of solar lanterns, tables and chairs, lights and fans, cycles - all with a goal to support them to the fullest. Additionally, V-Guard also empowered their parents with parental training through sessions on Parenting, Child Rights, Vocational Training etc., so that they could play their significant part in the development of their kids in a much better way.

V-Guard strongly believes that schools should be equipped with all basic infrastructure facilities that would help them mould their students in to top talents of the future. As a part of this, V-Guard has been supporting the development of basic infrastructure requirements of Government schools in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Punjab, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana and Jammu. With this, we aim to assist these schools in setting up the perfect learning atmosphere for kids.

BIG IDEA - Skill Development Program

As a business enterprise ourselves, V-Guard knows very well that it is extremely important that our youth develop the basic skills of entrepreneurship. This is crucial in the modern market place where competitions are highly intense and survival is a matter of smartness and sincerity. It is with this plan in mind that V-Guard gave life to the BIG IDEA - a skill development programme that helped students to learn to create and write business models/business plans, enabled with quality desk research/market research/feasibility study. The students made the most of this programme and garnered an extensive team-work experience through it. The programme also helped a great deal in enhancing good communicational and organizational skills among the kids.

Skill Development Training Among Rural And Tribal Youth

V-Guard deems it imperative to empower rural youths by equipping them with the skills and capacity to face the emerging challenges of the fast changing world. With this plan in focus, V-Guard carried out an extensive training programme for these young men and women from places like Hubli, Bagalkot & Bellary (Karnataka) Nizamabad & Siddipet (Telangana), in association with Deshpande Foundation, Hubli. This programme succeeded in instilling in them a self of confidence and provided them with a whole new outlook about capacity building.

"Swanthanam"

V-Guard had taken up a noble social responsibility endeavour by giving the differently abled children of our society, the support and care they deserve.
We associated with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and various special schools to conduct "Swanthanam" - programmes and cultural festivals for the special, differently abled children. As a part of the programme, we also provided them a speech therapy room and supplied physiotherapy equipments to special schools.
